There were many differences between the 1930's and the 1950's, from music, to fashion, and television. While the 1950's was big on Rock n Roll, in the 1930's Jazz seemed to be dominate. Hollywood actresses influenced the fashion trends in the 1930's, but with the Great Depression that was going on in the 1930's, not many were able to afford fancy clothes. Actually, because of the Great Depression many Americans weren't able to have access to a lot of things, enjoy certain entertainment, and live the way they truly wanted in the 1930's.
